WOW! Hawaii
what a place, we stayed here for four nights on the way back
from Australia. We were based on Waikiki beach and it was
just stunning.The
hotel "Outrigger
Reef on the Beach" was 3* but was as good
as any 4* we had stayed in and the service was superb. You
literally stepped out of the hotel onto Waikiki Beach,where
as the hotel name suggests, you can hop onto an outrigger
boat made famous in the hit cop series Hawaii five "O".
At the far end of the beach is the Diamond Head volcano, which
I believe is now extinct, but don't quote me on that. The
picture above is of Hanauma bay
where Elvis filmed Blue Hawaii. There's plenty to see and
do here, so try and spend a little longer than four nights
without the jetlag!
