A nine
hour flight from the UK, but well worth it. We spent two weeks
here at a Sandals
Grand Ocho Rios Resort and could not fault the
service, it was just a dream destination. Touring round the
island, Jamaica is a lush green country with absolutely stunning
beaches! Most of the towns or boroughs are named after there
English counterparts like Falmouth and Plymouth. Places to
visit include "Firefly" former home of Noel Coward,
the views from here are stunning, also Ian Fleming's holiday
home "Golden
Eye" where for a price, you can stay. Also
one of the best tours in Jamaica is the Bob Marley tour which
takes you by bus up through the lush green hills to the birthplace
of the reggae legend, a few Rum Punches help the day go smoothly!
This was
our first visit to the Carribbean and we can't wait to go
again.
